There was once a competition held to see who could give the best definition of a friend. The following was declared the winner:

“A friend is the one who comes in when the whole world has gone out.”

Good morning. I am Alan Watkins from the Grant Street Church of Christ and this is your “Message of Hope.”

The Bible talks about how two are better than one because if a person falls and is alone then no one is there to help him up. But if a person has a friend then he has someone to help him get back in the game.

“I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.”
